American Culinary Federation

What is ACF?

Welcome! We're glad you're here!

Welcome to the South Bend Chefs and Cooks Association, a proud chapter of the national organization, American Culinary Federation. A group of local chefs, students, apprentices and foodies dedicated to:

Community
Our chapter supports numerous local organizations including Unity Gardens, Northern Indiana Food Bank, Junior League of South Bend, South Bend Community School Corporation, Ivy Tech Community College, University of Notre Dame and the Michiana area culinary scene to help provide access to food for all.

Peers
We are an organization for chefs to collaborate and discuss issues facing our businesses and community.

Education
The chapter supports students in Ivy Tech’s Hospitality Program, ACF apprentices and its chef members through conferences and seminars related to the food service industry, education seminars prior to some meetings and scholarships for continuing education.

Check out our website for all the upcoming events throughout the year or contact us to be a guest at one of our meetings.

I look forward to seeing you on the second Monday of each month!
